As Bright Light’s Director, Dawn is the first person most parents and children meet when they walk in the front door, where they are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Those who know Dawn will agree that she proves the wisdom of Ben Franklin, who once remarked, “If you want something done, ask a busy person.” Dawn is always on the go – whether it’s developing a new curriculum idea, meeting with a parent, planning a field trip, or just taking time to play a game with the children, Dawn strives every day to create an atmosphere where learning and fun go hand in hand.

Prior to assuming the position of Director in 2010, Dawn served for five years as the Lead Teacher in the Elephant Room. Prior to Bright Light, she taught preschool in Rhode Island for three years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from The College of New Jersey as well as an Early Childhood Education Teaching Certificate. Originally from South Jersey, Dawn and her husband, Kevin, now reside in Exton with their two children, Annie and Sean.
